Mason's First Day of PreK!

Can someone please tell me how this happened?

 

First day of school!  First day of school!

This boy started Pre-K this week!  After having a rough time adjusting to the daycare he attended for a little over a week, we were relieved to see him so excited to head back to his preschool!  The night before, with a huge smile on his face he said "Tomorrow is my first day of school!"  Then that morning he woke up and looked at me with a huge smile again, and said "Today is my first day of school!"  Matt said he basically ran into school and just started playing.  What a difference a year (and a familiar place) makes!  I'm anxious to see what this year holds for him!

Bryce loves Jo's house!  He's had some issues with biting and hitting this week.  He seems to have trouble sharing toys...hmmm...we will get there...but it's so hard at this age when you can't reason and explain things to them!

 This was the funniest thing I've seen in awhile!  When I dropped Bryce off one morning, Lauren started putting his bib on him.  Apparently Bryce didn't want to finish putting it over his head so he literally just sat like this for what seemed forever.  He sat...and sat...and sat...waiting for someone to finish putting it over his head!  We laughed so hard!  After awhile Lauren pulled the bib up and he was just grinning!  So funny!

Lately Bryce seems to want to do whatever the older two boys do.  It's so cute!  We have 2 stools at the bar for the boys to sit on when they eat.  Bryce can now climb up there on his own and often wants to eat right with them.  After this picture we decided we needed to buy another stool so we now have three!

This weekend we really didn't plan anything.  It was so nice to have 3 days of doing whatever sounded good at the moment!  We ate out, ate at home, did some shopping, did some things around home, and spent some time outside.  The older two are into playing "Royals" and kickball.  Whatever we can do to get them exercising!

This weekend has been enjoyable!  It was nice to not really have an agenda.  Wish we could have that more often!  Have a great week and thanks for checking in on us!
