Summertime Fun!

We are trying to enjoy every moment of our summer together!  The boys continue to ask for pool time, so we've been going there quite a bit.  We're also trying to go outside and get some sun/air/exercise every day.  For outside play time, the weather has been great!  Not too hot or humid.  But for the pool...we'd take some more hot and humid!

Had to show you the boots on the farmer!

CHEESE!  Ready to mow!

Zane thought it was hot, so he installed an umbrella!

Hanging out inside, cooling off

Playing tractor pull on my phone

I don't capture too many of these innocent moments...where everyone is getting along!
Thursday we got to watch Jax again!  The boys love having him here!  Bryce did a little better this time and wasn't quite as territorial, but he still had a little bit of that!  Friday I decided we needed to get out and do something!  So I braved taking all three of them to Kaleidoscope by myself.  I probably should have called first...there were two school groups there, so it was quite busy.  Next time I'll call and ask when they have no school groups!  But the boys still had fun.  Zane has been there a couple of times, so he knew what to expect.  Mason had never been there, so it took him awhile to figure it out.  At first he didn't want to do much, but just as soon as he really got into it, the time was up, which made him mad!  So I promised we could go back sometime!

Peek a boo Mason!

He had to wash his hands in this cool sink!

The best I could get...Bryce wanted no part of this!
I see you!

Bryce was in awe!

Having fun!

After we left there, we went in search of the Curious George exhibit.  On the way, we saw these cool Lego people and had to stop and pose with them!  (Another thing on our summer list...LEGOLAND).

These were cool!  Completely made of Legos!

Zane was in awe!

"Hey Mom, take my picture..."  Love his pose!

oink oink!
Trying to get a picture of the boys with Curious George...no so much...

After we left Curious George, we walked by Fritz's ("the choo-choo place").  I wasn't going to stop there since I was there alone with all 3 of them...but we are hardly ever there and there wasn't a line, so we stopped.  I should have went with my gut...cause it wasn't the best experience.  We ordered.  Then while we were waiting, the boys enjoyed watching the trains deliver everyone's food.  After awhile I realized something was wrong...all the people around us had their food, were leaving, and there we sat.  I had to ask a couple of people to check on our order before someone finally did.  Yep, they didn't have it made.  So they hurried and made it.  Thankfully, because any of you with small children know...when it's time to eat, you feed them, or they eat you.  Ha!

My little engineers!
Love!

Double love!  (I love Bryce too, he just wouldn't pose for me)!

CHOO CHOO!  Here comes your food!

Saturday Zane and I headed to a birthday party for one of his friends.  It was at a place similar to Chuck-E-Cheese...times 10!  Wow, it was crazy!  We had the pizza, presents, cake, and a piñata.  The piñata was one where you pull the strings and one makes it open.  Zane happened to be the lucky one to pull the magic string.  As soon as it opened and emptied out, everyone dove for the goodies.  Somehow, Zane got knocked over and hit his elbow pretty good on the floor.  He was pretty upset and said it really hurt.  So the rest of the afternoon was interesting.  He was given a card to play games until the points were gone, but he was most worried about his arm, so it took a lot of coaxing from me to even play anything.  Thankfully by the time we left his arm felt better, and it's been better ever since.

Celebrating West's birthday!
Today Matt's parents, Marcy, and Nate came down so we could get some hours on the boat before our week at the Ozarks!  We were hoping for hot weather, but it was windy and chilly out.  We still had fun though!  It was nice to be out on the water.  Zane tried skiing and Zane and Mason rode on the hot dog tube.  Bryce was so good the whole time!  We are definitely ready for a nice relaxing week at the Ozarks!  One week away!

Summer in full swing!

I found a couple of pictures I forgot to post...

Working on our school memories books.  Bryce had to play along!

At Bryce's checkup.  He loves watching the fish while we wait!
I know we've been out of school for weeks now...but it hasn't really felt like normal summer break with Mexico starting our summer off!  So last week was our first full week of summer at home with the 4 of us, while Matt was at work.  Zane decided he wants a job that he gets summers off.  He thinks maybe he'll be a principal...until I told him principals are at work right now...

We got to have our friend Jax over on Wednesday while his mom worked.  Bryce was...well...jealous!  Every time Jax was around me, Bryce wedged his way into my lap!

Cheesing it up!
Sweet Jax!
CHEESE!

What a face!
Posing!

"Here's your seat, Jax.  Time to go home..."
Jax was interesting in Zane's DS
Mason wanted to feed him!
This was Bryce's reaction to us paying attention to Jax!
Jax loved being pushed around in this!

On Friday, Zane and Mason had their checkups, so I had Maggie (Jax's mom) watch Bryce so I didn't have to corral him!  It's so nice to have friends that are willing to help out!  I love that we can do that for one another!

Bryce at Maggie's
Big boy in the booster!
But he couldn't resist the walker!  Ha!
LOVE!
Friday and Saturday I had a cupcake order to fulfill.  The PE teacher at my school got married, and he asked me to make the cupcakes.  I made 15 dozen cupcakes for them!  It was fun, but I was tired!  He sent me a message from Mexico telling me how much they enjoyed them, so that makes it all worth it to me!

Red velvet, peanut butter cup, white wedding cake.  Ready for a party!

Saturday afternoon we left for Iowa.  Matt's cousin, Casey, married Cassie.  We were happy to be there to help them celebrate.  I was stressed a little thinking of having the boys there, hoping they wouldn't act up, but thankfully there were lots of other family members who were more than willing to help out with them!

Waiting for the wedding to begin

Mason trying to figure it all out

Bryce just needing a drink!
Wow, don't they just look thrilled to be at a wedding?
Baker boys...waiting for the festivities to conclude...

This was my attempt to get a photo of all 3 boys dressed up.  They were very cooperative...

About the best I got...sad...

Love him!

The first dance
Whew!  Busy week!  The boys have been having so much fun spending time at the pool.  That's what we've been doing most days!  We're just ready for the water to warm up a bit...it's a tad cold!
