Royals, Christmas, Easter, and Early Birthday!

I guess I missed a week posting, whoops!  Life is a little shy of crazy around here!  We've stayed very busy and are counting down the days until summer (19 school days left as I type)!

Bryce acting silly!

Later that day...
Two Sundays ago it was Scout Day at the K.  We had tickets for Matt, myself, Zane, and Mason to go to the game, but since Mason now thinks he doesn't like the Royals, he didn't want to go.  We just let him stay home with Grandma, since she was here to stay with Bryce anyway.  We went out early to tailgate before the game.

Family fun!
After the game we went as close to the field as we could.  Lorenzo Cain was doing an interview!

He doesn't like them, but he sure pays attention...
This past weekend we headed to Iowa for some family time!  Saturday we had late Easter with Matt's mom's side of the family.

Bryce was tuckered out!  He napped before everyone showed up!

Kyler ran away from me at first, but warmed up later and I got a hug and kiss when he left!

Since our visits home are few and far between these days, we decided to go ahead and celebrate Zane's 10th birthday a month early.  We felt bad because usually we either celebrate a month or so late OR not at all, so we wanted to be sure we celebrated!

10!?!  Say what!?!

Kenna was right by him the whole time!

Keaton all tied up.  These poor kids have no chance!

Sunday we had late Christmas/Easter with Matt's Dad's side.  The boys had so much fun playing together!

"Which way do we pass?"  Bryce was so confused, but just kept grinning!

Zane...unimpressed!
And, as always, my weekly dose of Thomas!

I think he misses me!

This was when he was here and I was talking to him!  He loves me!

Woah, that thing is big!

Let's Go Royals!

Have you been watching my boys in blue?  Oh my goodness, they are on FIRE!  I think they have a little unfinished business to take care of!  :)  I found out I had a couple of personal days I need to take or I will lose them, so I took one on Thursday to go to the Royals game.  Bryce threw a kink in our plans because he got a mild fever on Wednesday so I was home with him.  He was okay but I kept him home Thursday to be sure.  He went to the game with us!  :)

Let's go Royals!

Not a huge crowd since it was a 1:00 game, so he had his pick of seats!

Had to take his "hat"

The game, and all the sugar, wore him out!
Mason has been telling us over and over that he doesn't like the Royals and he likes the Cardinals instead.  He wants to go live with Uncle Aaron since he lives in St. Louis.  We're thinking about going to a Royals/Cardinals game coming up in May so he thought he might need some Cardinals gear.  Here's what he picked out:

I have failed my child...but Grandma Beggs was a Cardinals fan so it's all good!
Aaron sent me this photo right when I was buying the Cardinals gear for Mason so I told him even Thomas felt bad about my purchase!  Haha!  We get to have this little guy here for a couple of nights this week!  Can't wait!

Happy Easter!

This week the boys' schools had a Family Reading and Math night.  It was baseball themed and the one and only Slugger was there!  Mason refused to get close or pose for a picture, so it was me with the oldest and youngest!

Slugger!
Zane, Mason, and Matt didn't have school/work Friday, so they brought me lunch at school!  It made the day go a little faster!  Friday night we all went to see Home as a family.  It was a really cute movie!  Saturday morning Mason had a football game.  He got a tackle and ALMOST a touchdown!  He was run out-of-bounds.

Today was Easter and Matt's parents, along with my brother and Bethany, came over.  We enjoyed a nice dinner together, then some sunshine outside!

CANDY!

Bryce was MAD that I made him quit finding candy to pose for a picture.

Our three "bunnies!"

This was all Bryce wanted to do!  He was on a mission!
I am co-directing Vacation Bible School this summer, so today we handed out "save the date" cards after all of the services.  I left the boys at home to clean the house before our company came and I went solo.  While in church Matt sent me this picture:

Zane asked Matt if he needed help with anything, so he unloaded the dishwasher!

Thomas had a great first Easter too!  Wish I could have cuddled and kissed him, but this photo will have to do!
