A week on the farm!

Brent sent me these pictures that he took with his waterproof camera while we were in the Ozarks.  I thought they were cute!

Last week, Matt's AMAZING parents took ALL THREE boys for the week!  Can you believe that?  Well, if you know them, then you can believe it, but if you don't...then you're missing out!  We met them on Sunday evening to "pass the baton" so to speak.  Then we headed back home...just the two of us...(what a quiet ride)...and what did we do when we got home?  Relax?  Go to the movie?  Have some driniks?  NOPE!  We cleaned  the house!  I told Matt I really wanted to have a clean house for one entire week!  Noone around to mess it up!  And that's just what we did!

It doesn't take them long to make themselves at home...I had a week without this!!!

I was able to get so much done last week!  I worked in my classroom 4 days.  I really feel good about it...lots done and less to worry about!  We weren't home too much...we went out to eat a lot and just enjoyed a lot of quiet time!  The boys had a great time and always come back with lots of stories for us!

THANK YOU Craig and Keeta for making such amazing memories with our children!  They adore you, and so do we!!!

Ozarks!

Consider yourself warned:  Photo overload!

What a fabulous week!  On Sunday, we packed up and headed to the Lake of the Ozarks!  We look forward to this week every year!  Remember last year...Grandma Baker was in the hospital the whole time?  Thankfully this year she was with us...but this year Keeta had to wait for her checkup to see if she could come at all.  Thankfully she got the "go" and was able to join us Monday!  Following are a ton of photos from our week!

"Mom, look, I'm Papa Craig!" (Notice the "mustache")  Mason, rub it in.  "I did!"  I made him look in the mirror...and he just grinned!

On my birthday, we went out for lunch.  On the way back we stopped and took helicopter rides over the lake!  It was awesome!  Zane and Mason both went!!!  Mason still won't talk about it much...but the reports to me were that he was grinning during the ride!

Today we returned home.  It's always so much less fun packing things to come home!  We had a great time!!  Tonight we've been working on getting laundry done and everything unpacked.  I've already heard "Mom, are we going to go to the Ozarks" from Mason.  As soon as the suitcases were empty, Mason took them and started playing "vacation."  He got Zane involved, and they both packed a suitcase and played "vacation."  Later, we went down to check on them and found this:

Watching tv together

Before they "rested," they had this all set up as their "Tahoe."  See the suitcases?  That's the back of the Tahoe.  The pillows were set up as the seats and they were sitting like they were driving to vacation.  It was so cute!
Thanks to Grandma, Grandpa, Craig and Keeta for having us!  We will always have amazing memories of our ventures!  We love you!
