I'm an Aunt!

A brand new, very special little someone is taking over our family blog this week...

Allow me to introduce you to the little fellow who made me an aunt...Thomas Joseph Bunch!  He was born on Friday, January 16th, 2015, at 10:17 p.m. and weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz.  He is perfect and I CANNOT WAIT to get my hands on him!  For now I have requested as many photos as possible, and maybe a Skype session or two or ten!  :)

Close up!

Right after breakfast!

Too precious for words!  I need to hold him!

He's home!!!

He's so handsome already!

My parents with their newest grandson!  All boys - Lord help us!  :)
I'm smitten and I haven't even seen him in person yet!

Okay, so I'll add some of us too!  There's really not much to report for us...Matt's been super busy at work and there were two nights this week that he wasn't home until after we were all snoozing.  It was nice to have him home this weekend!  We had basketball for Zane only on Saturday and this was their first win!  I was so proud of him, he's making so much progress in such a short time!  The weather today was so amazing, we took advantage and went to the park!

Lunch at BWW - or as Bryce calls it "Flying Horse" (see the logo and you'll understand)

Such nice weather!

Mom, look, a ladder!

Spin me mom!  He was laughing so hard when I spun him!

Zane pushing Bryce in the swing

LOVE!

Playing "doot doot" - a game my boys love compliments of my dad!
Tomorrow I am thankful for MLK Jr. because we will get an extra day at home!  And the weather tomorrow is supposed to be even nicer than today so I am trying to finish up all of my cleaning/organizing tasks at home so we can just play...all...day!  Have a great week!

Basketball

This week was crazy busy, but sure seemed to drag!  I am pretty sure it was due to it being the first week back to school and indoor recess, which is torture for kids and teachers alike!  I gave my kids homework for the weekend that they were to go outside and PLAY!

I don't have many pictures this week, only of the boys' ballgames.  Saturday morning Craig and Keeta came down.  They were able to be here for both of the boys' games and stayed overnight so we could go to my school Christmas party.  We had such a good weekend with them and once again are reminded how lucky we are to have them!

After he saw the first one he said "take another one" and stuck his tongue out!

Happy 3rd Birthday Bryce!

For the New Year we hung out at home and had a movie night.  By the end of the movie everyone was asleep, and that was before midnight.  None of us were awake to ring in the new year, but it was a nice night anyway!

The boys enjoying Mason's gift from Uncle Aaron and Aunt Michele.  Thanks for the gifts!
Friday it was back to work for me.  I was so sad to see our relaxing time come to an end.  We did enjoy the laziness of our break!  But, it had to end.  The night before we got out our Elf on the Shelf Birthday Edition that Harper gave Bryce for his birthday last year.  It came with a birthday cupcake outfit and hat for Buzz to wear, and said that he could come back for 24 hours for Bryce's birthday.  Before I went to bed that night I found this in the kitchen, Mason was busy!

He taped the birthday clothes for Buzz onto Bryce's chair.

On it he taped this note.  The front says "Buzz it's here.  Turn over."

The back says "Welcome back Buzz.  I love you!"

The oldest two were off to Y Club for the day and Bryce started at his new daycare.  His new sitter's name is Pat.  She has watched Bryce now and again when Jo was closed, so they both know each other.  My good friend Maggie's son goes there so he was excited to see him again!  His first day there was his birthday!  We took cupcakes for all of the daycare kids to enjoy.  Pat sent me this sweet video.  It was so nice of her to do - I was missing out on my baby's birthday and feeling bad, so it brought a smile to my face!

Happy birthday Brycers!

After everyone got home from work/school/daycare, Mason had basketball practice.  Afterwards Bryce chose Panda Express for his birthday supper.  The kid loves that place!  He eats a huge amount of chow mein noodles.  Seriously, he shovels them into his mouth and it is hilarious!  He also loves the fortune cookies!

Getting ready to stick his tongue out at me cause he didn't want me to take his picture.

Plate full of noodles...
Once we got home it was time for presents and cupcakes!

Showing how old he is.  This took awhile, and a little bit of help from dad!

So serious!

I can barely believe he's 3!

CHEESE!
We were singing to him.  Funny...right at this point Mason said "Bryce just tooted!"  So it's funny to see that smile and dimple!

Taking in a breath...

Blowing...he had to try a few times...just like at Pat's...

Success!
Today we had a busy day.  Both Mason and Zane had their first basketball games and we were so extremely proud of both of them.  They both gave it their all!  Mason got 2 baskets and was an amazing defender.  Zane had a rebound, attempted but didn't make any shots, and also did well defending.  They were both nervous and I think they're glad today is over.  I'm anxious to see how they grow and progress throughout the season!

Bryce got his own nerf gun to shoot at his brothers from Uncle Adam and Bethany!
