One Month Old !?!?

This handsome little guy is one month old!


At one month, Bryce:

Weighs 10 pounds, 5 ounces

Sleeps best when swaddled (or cuddled up to someone)

Loves to be held and cuddled (I heart this)

Prefers Mama (I heart this too)

Eats 2-4 ounces at every feeding

Eats every 2-4 hours

Has the "silent" cry down pat!

Hates being changed and being naked. He cries HARD at those moments!

Wakes up once most nights...twice once in awhile

Sleeps well in the car!

Does not enjoy his car seat...unless we are in the car moving

Smiles!!!

Likes the sound of water running

Finally enjoys bathtime!

Is perfect!

Time is just flying by right now and I am not liking it one bit!  It seems like Bryce has been a part of our family forever!  I don't remeber, nor can I imagine, life without him!  He is such a blessing and amazing addition to our family!  We love him SOOOOOOOOOOOO much!

He has so many people that love him and want to take care of him...the other night as he was falling asleep and started crying because he lost his pacifier, Mason went in and put a book in bed with him to make him feel better...how cute!

When I was taking Bryce's picture with Big Bird, it dawned on me that I forgot to take a picture of Mason with Big Bird on his birthday...whoops...so I finally took care of that!

It's real interesting/hard to get a good picture of all 3 boys together!  This morning Zane was holding Bryce in the chair, and Mason crawled up there with them, so I took advantage of the photo op....these were the best of the "best..."

 

When we woke up this morning, we had some snow on the ground! It wasn't much, in fact it was gone by the time we got out of church at 10:30, but enough to cover the ground anyway.  So we tried to take advantage of it by making true "snowcones!"

Mason's Marvels

• Mason was kissing Bryce and I said "Oh, Mason, do you love your little brother?"  He said, "Yeah, he's awesome!"
• Last weekend Mason asked Papa Farmer why he had a mustache.  Papa said, "I don't know.  Why don't you have one?"  Mason's response was, "Papa...I'm just a boy!"
• When Matt opened his email the other day, he saw an order confirmation from Amazon.  He opened it and realized that Mason had bought a whole season of cartoons on his Kindle Fire...for $42!!!  We were talking about it at supper one night and Mason said, "there are paid movies."  I reminded him that we are only supposed to get the free movies on our fires, and just grinned and said, "I got a paid movie on my fire!"  Little stinker!
• We were in the bathroom and I noticed the step stool was missing.  I asked Mason where it was and he said, "I don't know.  It probably had some crap on it, so someone had to clean it."  I told him that we don't say that word...he's now said it a couple of times referring to something being dirty and needing cleaned!
• We were all sitting around talking and apparently Mason needed a turn.  He threw his hands in the air and said, "Ugh!  It's my turn to speak!"
