September 2017

September was busy with baseball and football.  We spend lots of hours at the ballfields!

Fire pit night!

This was Zane's first season with his new baseball team - the KC A's.  We were so excited for him to start this new adventure!  The team only played in tournaments this fall.  I was so sad to have to miss his first game with his new team.  Mason was sick and had to stay home, so I stayed home with him while Matt went to the tournament.  Zane did SO well!

New team - new beginnings!

Mason played with the same football team again this year.  He really shined as quarterback!  He shocked us with some very long and amazing passes to his teammates!

HIT IT ZANE!

Mason's team is now of age to play kid-pitch.  It is always a tough transition because now the kids can walk, so that scores quite a few runs during many games.  Mason did a great job pitching this fall!  Hopefully he will keep working at it so he can continue to improve and do well!

Matt was able to go to Donuts with Dad at school.  I had a hard time getting a serious picture of these boys together...

Fall baseball tournaments meant very long days!  We got pretty good at packing snacks, meals, drinks, and prepping for full days away from home.  It's important to keep the boys fueled for their f

Bryce is such a trooper!  He has to tag along to every practice...every game...every tournament.  Sometimes he takes things along to entertain him, like his baseball cards.  During this game, I found him in the warn-up

After the tournament we went to a local pizza place that was delicious, with pizza as big as our heads!

September also brings Grandparent's Day at school, and the boys are so lucky to have Grandparents that make time to come to their school events - even when they live 2 hours away!  Last year we got lucky and the boys' lunches were on the same day.  This year they were not, so not everyone could be at both days.  But...we made the most of what we could get!

We went to a football game - Bryce couldn't hang...

They all said hi to Mason before they left.  And Braeden photo bombed!
We got a note from Mason's music teacher that he was a car in the musical.  They were to make a car out of cardboard.  So...Matt ran with it!  Here he is getting the car ready.  Stay tuned for the final product...
