Thomas is growing and changing so much!  He's such a sweet boy and so smart!!!

A Bunch of Bunches!
The weekend before the 4th of July we went to Clearfield.  The boys wanted to be in the Home Run Derby again.  This time they actually had a kids' division.  They didn't go on past the first round but I'm sure they will want to do it again next year!

Mason in the home run derby

Zane in the home run derby

Bryce tried it too!
On the actual 4th we went to the Garcia's house.  We swam, had water balloons, ate wonderful food, and had tons of fireworks!  It's a fun group of people to be around!

Matt Fisher is very patriotic!
We had the Fisher kids over for a pool date one day!  They had so much fun!

These kids live for sports!
Mason had a birthday party for one of his buddies.  It was at Dave & Busters, and then a sleepover.  He is now asking about a sleepover for his birthday.  We've dodged it for this many years, so guess we'll probably let him have one...

Mason's baseball team had a night at the T-Bones.  We love spending time with those families so it was a fun time!

Ball in the parking lot!

The dads found this guy who they listen to on the radio!

It was also Disney night...so the dads had to have a princess picture...

Mason would NOT pose with this pirate so Matt and Chris held him there!

Ambush parents!
Mason attended a basketball camp for a few days.  I think he thought that it was pretty exhausting!  He was worn out every day!  He would go to that in the morning, we'd pick him up, then we'd take Zane to a baseball camp!  Busy week!
Shooting hoops!

Zane's hair was really getting long and I did not love it.  I know, it's only hair, but I think he looks so much better with a clean haircut!  I finally convinced him to cut it shorter and he really got into styling it!  He instantly began looking like a teenager!

New 'do!

My BIG birthday (4-0) and my Dad's BIG birthday (7-0) was in July!  His is the 11th and mine the 14th.  We didn't have any plans.  I spent the day relaxing, going to lunch, just hanging out with the boys at home.  About 6:00 I was folding laundry on the couch when the doorbell rang.  I wondered what I had ordered from Amazon that was being delivered and when I went to the door my family was there to surprise me!  What an amazing surprise!  They came with my favorite pizza, ice cream cake, beer, and presents!  I loved every minute of their visit!

Picnic time!
We went to the Ozarks with the Bakers.  It was a great, relaxing week!  Grandpa Baker ended up with a kidney stone and had to be in the hospital for a few days.  He is doing much better now but it was not fun for him for a few days!

Lots of boating!

Zane is such a good skier now!!!

Mason learned to ski pretty well too!

Bryce will ONLY do the easy ski.  Maybe next year he will do real skis!

Chillin

He loves the water!

Knee boarding!

Mason likes to knee board also!

The boys went with Grandma and Papa for their week on the farm while I had my week of my school golf tournament, professional development, and getting my classroom ready.  But first, we went to a HOT Royals game to get bobble heads for the boys.  We ended up getting 5 of them!  And it was Zane's favorite player so it was all worth it!

Sweating our hineys off for a few bobble heads!

I wish they did this at home...

Zane loves to cook pancakes!

While the boys were gone we ended up getting some free tickets from a friend who couldn't go.  They were in the 100's, way down low, closer than we have EVER sat!  It was SUPER hot but so amazing!

So close!

We had a parents night out at a local place called Draftcade.  There are lots of old-school video games as well as food.  It was a ton of fun!

Date night!

Parents night out!!!

Playing Tetris!

Shooting some hoops!

I had an all-day meeting so asked Adam and Bethany if they could watch the boys.  They took them to Chiefs training camp and the boys had a BLAST!  They ended up getting some autographs so they were pretty excited about that!  While the boys were in Iowa we added another line to our cell phone plan, so Zane got my old phone.  This was the first day he had the phone and it was fun to get pictures and videos from him all day long!

July seemed to go really quickly and you know what that means...school is right around the corner.
