February

February was full of basketball for us!  It's been so fun watching Mason play again this season, and we've made some great family friends as well!  One of the moms took our team and individual pictures this year and she did GREAT!

The monster trucks were in town, as they are each February.  Matt took the boys there.  They decided to go early for the Pit Party.  Matt said it really wasn't worth the extra money and time and the boys weren't really into it.  They just aren't as excited about the Monster Trucks as they used to be.  Bryce kept saying they were "freaking him out."  But I think he got into it later.

Some of our weather has been amazing this month!  We've been able to be outside quite a bit!  We try to take advantage of the fresh air when we can!

One of Mason's best buds had his birthday party and invited him along.  They went to Dave and Buster's (a better version of Chuck-E-Cheese) and then to the Lego Batman movie.  They had so much fun!

The boys just LOVE it that I can come to their Valentine parties now that they are at my school!  I do enjoy being able to sneak down there for a few minutes to see what they are doing!

One night at basketball practice we shared a gym with a 2nd grade girls' team.  One of the girls is in Mason's class.  Toward the end of practice the two teams scrimmaged!  The girl from his class is who he was guarding.  She's one of my former students as well!

Bryce had a little tummy bug and had to stay home from school.  He didn't get sick much, so he and Matt went to work for a few hours.  He loved it there!  He wants to go every day now!

At the end of February we had our first Kindergarten Transition meeting, where our new kindergarten kids and parents come to see what school is like, get information, etc.  It's so super hard to believe, but Bryce was a part of it this year!  How in the world will our BABY be in kindergarten in the fall?!?  He's just like my other boys and tells me nothing, but deep down I think he's excited!  It'll be so weird having him at my school, and in my grade, next year!

As always, time flies for the Baker Bunch.  We are now starting into baseball practices for Zane and Mason, and football for Mason.  Bryce is going to be in baseball this summer as well.  I'm bracing myself for the busiest spring and summer YET!
