Sing, Zane, Sing!

This week was Zane's musical!  We were so excited to go and watch him with his friends and classmates!  We got Erika to watch the younger two so we could enjoy the whole performance.  It's really a surreal moment to sit back and watch your child.  I don't feel like I should be "old enough" for this!

The musical was so good!  And we were very proud of Zane!  We worried that maybe he'd act silly and goofy.  That seems to be one of his defense mechanisms when he's nervous.  However, he did a great job and afterwards even told me "only one teacher had to go behind us to tell someone to stop!"  It really was fun to spend the evening with just Zane!

Lately Mason has been really into Spiderman!  So much so that he tells us his name is Peter Parker.  Today when I dropped him off in Sunday School and began making a nametag for him, I wrote Mason.  He leaned over to me and said, "Uh, Mom, it's Peter."  I have to draw the line at him requesting to be called Peter outside of the house!  The other night he wondered where his Spiderman mask was...found it...and when I went to check on the boys before going to bed, this is what I found...
