Family Photos, Buzz's antics, and Santa!

Two weeks ago we had our pictures taken for Christmas cards.  We got them back this wek and they turned out SO GOOD!!!  Carisa Hubbard is an awesome photographer!  She is so good with the boys!  In the pictures, you would have no way of knowing that Matt and I were so stressed trying to get the boys to behave, cooperate, and listen.  Or that they did NOT get the candy they were promised if they were good, so we had to deal with the meltdowns from the aftermath of that also!  So brace yourselves...this post is long...with lots of photos...I just couldn't narrow it down more (yes, there are more than these)!

Buzz has been pretty creative this year!  He must have a Pinterest account...

Taking a "bubble bath"

As soon as the boys saw this one, the "g" fell down, so we now like to tell each other to "be ood!"
Every year we have several opportunities to see Santa.  Keeps the boys on their toes!  Ha!  Our first visit this year was at our dentist's office.  She does this every year for her patients and their families.  It's free.  You get to take your own photos.  And her Santa is so sweet!  The boys were very anxious to talk to him!  Zane kept wanting to know if it was the real Santa, or just someone dressed like him.  I told him it was Santa's helper becuase he couldn't possibly be everywhere, especially now, when Christmas is so close.

My big boy with Santa

Bryce spotted the candy canes and was all over it...

Until we posed for a photo!

Mason was all about TALKING about seeing Santa...he even changed his shirt THREE TIMES to be sure he had JUST the right one!  He landed on a tractor one because he said "Santa hasn't seen this one."  The minute he saw Santa, he wanted to leave.  He didn't want to get close at all.  He WAS willing to accept a candy cane though.

The only way we got a picture of Mason with Santa was if I sat with him!  And even that was a struggle!
We had such a nice weekend.  I actually feel like I got some things done!  And I feel ready for the week!  The weather was gorgeous!  December started...and we had short sleeves on (Matt even wore shorts)!  We enjoyed some much needed outside time this afternoon/evening!

Driving the cozy coupe!

Who knew that on December 2nd the boys could be playing in the water!!!

He's serious!  See those seatbelts?  Yes, installed by Matt.  He took the seatbelts out of our old, expired carseat and put them in here!  In this picture, Bryce is making "motor" sounds!  It was really cute!

Mason is like the daughter I never had...in that once he went outside he changed his outfit four times!  This was one of his selections...until he saw me laughing and realized he "looked like a dork!"

Racing on wiggle cars with our neighbor Eli!
A busy week ahead and at the end of the week...my brother gets married!  :o)
