This week was special in the kindergarten world...it was Dr. Seuss' birthday! If you are involved at all with small children, this is a monumental day! In my classroom, as well as in Zane's, it was a week-long celebration! Zane's favorite dam,l;y was "hat day." He knew I had a "cat in the hat" hat, and was just dying to wear it to school! He couldn't get it to stand up straight, so he stuffed it with a bunch of plastic grocery sacks (inventive) and was pleased that it worked!

Bryce has adjusted well to Jo's house! We bumped him up to stage 2 nipples for his bottles, which has helped him eat easier and quicker. He's still eating anywhere from 2-4 ounces at each feeding...not really predictable...but seems to be satisfied and growing! Jo says she has to wake him up to eat at her house!!!

| Play-doh time at Jo's! Lawson, Vaughn, Braeden, Mason, Nora (poor Nora surrounded, literally, by boys)! |

Seriously? For real? Bryce is 2 months already? My oh my how time does fly! I'm savoring every cry, coo, sound, cuddle, smile, etc, etc...cause it seems like just yesterday that Zane and Mason were this age...and look at them now! This week Bryce had a first...sleeping all night! There were two nights in a row that he went to sleep at 6:30, woke up once to eat, then slept until 6:30 in the morning (okay, so really that's good too), but Saturday night he went to sleep at 9:00, and didn't wake up until 6:15 this morning! And you might be thinking..."how many times did you get up to check on him?" If you are a mom...and have 3 kids...you'll know the answer...NONE! I think my body needed a full night's sleep! Bryce is such a great baby! We are so thankful for him! What a great addition to our family!

| Bryce and Big Bird...2 months! |
This weekend The Lorax came out...on Dr. Seuss' birthday! The boys had good weeks at school/daycare so I surprised them Friday and took them to the theatre! We got some goodies and headed into the theatre. Not surprisingly (since it was opening night), it was packed and we almost didn't find 3 seats together. But we did. Luckily in the back. And Mom had to sit in the middle. They were both SO good and watched the entire movie very well. This was actually the first movie Mason made it all the way through in the theatre! The last time, Matt tried to take them, and I had to come pick him up early! Afterwards, we drove through McDonald's. Zane asked me if we could have a picnic when we got home and watch The Lorax (the original one) together. Mason said, "Oh yeah. That would be PERFECT!" So we did. And it was!
Mason's Marvels
Mason's really been concerned lately with the police. "Mom, if you go fast, you will get a ticket and the cops will take you to jail." "Do the cops want me to?" So this morning he had put his clothes on and his shirt was backwards. I told him that he needed to turn it around and he said, "I want it this way." I was trying to convince him that the writing needed to be in the front when he said, "Do the cops want me to turn it around?" I said "Yes," so he said "okay" and turned it around!
