Catching Up!

It appears as though I've stepped away from the blog for awhile!  We have been so very busy lately but I wanted to sit down and do a little catching up!  Here goes...

All of us celebrated the 100th day of school in January.  Bryce was supposed to either dress like he was 100 or wear 100 of something.  We made a shirt with 100 macaroni noodles!

 Mason has been going to a Lego club after school.  He really enjoys it!

Valentine's Day also happened since I last posted.  Look at this little heartbreaker!

At my school we had a college day - wear your favorite college!  This is one of my former students, also a co-worker's daughter.  She couldn't wait to see me that morning, so we took a picture!

Unfortunately we haven't escaped the sickies this year...Bryce had a stomach virus.  Matt stayed home with him.  Matt said all he kept saying all day was "when is Mom coming home?  I just want my Mom."

Mason ended up with strep.  He spent 2 days at work with Matt.  I was going to stay home, but found out 2 of my other co-workers also had sick kids and subs were hard to come by!  It was crazy!  Matt said he was amazing!  Took his fire, homework, and just sat in the conference room all day!

On President's Day weekend, Mason's team played in a tournament.  It was quite different because they had very different rules than what we are used to.  Our first game was played against one of his buddies from school, so we had to take a picture afterwards!

The next day we had Mason's regular game, a tournament game, Zane's game, a birthday party, cake tasting, then the last game of the day.  It was an exhausting day!  We had to divide and conquer which I don't love (I hate missing their things) but we had to so someone could be there for everyone.

This past week was super crazy/busy.  I was at a 2 day conference for school.  It was in town, but we spent the night.  Of course this is when they had Muffins with Mom.  Thankfully Bethany was able to be their stand-in mom for this event!  I hated missing it, but was glad they didn't have to miss!

The very next day was Mason's field trip!  He was so mad that I didn't go, but I just couldn't after being gone the two previous days.  They went to a Junie B. Jones play and Kaleidoscope.  I think they had a good time!

Saturday we had a basketball game at 8:00 a.m.!  Mason went to a buddy's house to hang out for awhile and we had Zane's Blue and Gold banquet for Scouts.  Then we had Zane's game, and spent the rest of the afternoon outside playing baseball!  What a gorgeous day!
