Gingerbread Manor

I found this random photo in my email and had to share it:

This week it started nice and warm, then got COLD at the end of the week!  Man, I'm not ready for winter!  The week seemed to drag, but is now over, so seems to have gone fast in reality.  Saturday the boys and I were home most of the day while Matt helped Yancy.  The boys got pretty creative while waiting for Grandma and Papa to arrive...

What Mom?  I'm not supposed to sit in here?
Driving trucks and trailers around

#1 and #3!
Matt's parents came down to stay with the boys while Matt and I attended my school Christmas party.  It was a fun time!

Me with my friend Chris
Today we slept in, which is rare for us, but was possible due to Matt's parents getting up with the boys!  We hung around in our pj's for the morning.  Matt, Papa, and Zane took a jaunt to the boat barn.  Then we went out for lunch before Grandma and Papa headed home.  Once home, the boys began working on our Gingerbread Manor.  After it dried we were able to finish it this evening.  I think we decided that Matt has to do most of the work, so next year we are each going to build one of our own out of graham crackers and have ourselves a village!

Poser!

Always such amazing faces...
This is Zane's "I don't want to smile" face...

Zane trying to lick the frosting!

And Mason acting like he was going to lick the frosting as well
Good one Mason!

Buzz!  Zane stayed up so late last night that Buzz fell asleep and was in the same place again today.  Maybe he'll move tomorrow...

Always have to have trucks and trailers!

I'm officially finished Christmas shopping!  It's such a nice feeling.  However, I'm finding that being done early (at least early for me) means that I just keep buying...whoops!  Next weekend I think we will wrap everything.  We will also be visiting Santa so that will be interesting!  It's so hard to believe Christmas is a little over 2 weeks away!  But it's really beginning to look a lot like Christmas today with the snow.  It's just a light snow and really looks pretty tonight!
