Fall is here!!!

My favorite weather has arrived!  I love the crisp, cool air!  The rain!  Football!  Crock pot meals!  YES!  Here are a few photos from Jo's house this week:

Saturday morning was the first really cool day.  Zane and Matt went to the Gladfest parade with Scouts.  Mason, Bryce, and I stayed home.  I had a busy day in the kitchen...made 9 dozen cookies for Jo for her daughter's soccer game and 2 kinds of cupcakes for Jamie to serve at her family dinner.  I decided I needed the time to bake/frost, and wasn't sure how Bryce would do in the cold. 

 

Matt said he was so proud of Zane.  He was very well behaved.  He also took over the role of spirit leader by leading a few chants!  So proud of this kid!

Zane's library at school is having a fun pumpkin decorating activity.  They asked anyone who wanted to participate to decorate a pumpkin like a story character.  You could not carve the pumpkin but could decorate in any other way.  Zane came up with the idea all on his own...Cat in the Hat!  This weekend we gathered up the supplies to get it ready for the week.  Mason decided he wanted to do one as well.  He chose to decorate his as the Grinch.
