Randomness and Back to the Grind!

I found some pictures I forgot to post!

What to do on a rainy day at the end of summer?  Make a car ramp!!!

It worked!!!
A couple of weekends ago, Matt and the older two boys went to the races.  Matt said they behaved perfectly!  They were talking about it for the next week, so I know they enjoyed it!  How crazy that at the end of July they were chilly and had to wear sweatshirts!

Sitting like perfect little angels...
Watching the cars
This week marked the end of summer for us as I returned to work on Thursday.  Until school starts for Zane, all three boys are staying at Jo's house.  It has been really nice to only have one drop-off and pick-up each day.  I'm not looking forward to the craziness of three drop-offs and pick-ups after this coming week!

Whatcha cooking there Bryce?

First day back at Jo's.  My (not so)  baby boy is sleeping on a cot.  He fell right asleep and stayed asleep!  How did this happen?

These two have been counting down the days until they could be at Jo's house!
The tractor must be dirty!

Jo's oldest daughter, Erika (who was in my kindergarten class and is entering high school this year...gasp!) is watching the older siblings until she goes back to school.  She has each day planned out with activities, field trips, and lots of fun.  She's such an amazing young woman!

Bryce had to have the horse sit with him during lunch...haha!

The older boys had to "sun" themselves!

Day two...half on/half off!

My three boys!  (Give me that popsicle!)

My classroom is ready...but am I???  Unsure.  I'm ready for structure, a schedule, routine for the boys.  And although the boys did more fighting than getting along this summer, it was nice to just sleep until I woke up (don't worry, the latest I ever slept was 7:30), go to Target whenever, go to the pool almost daily, and stay up late without worry.  My classroom is ready.  I THINK I'm ready.  I'm a little nervous because we have larger than normal classes.  Right now I have 23 students.  I only have 24 seats in my classroom.  I'm nervous about us getting more students and having to open another section, which means shuffling kids around, and upsetting many people.  But I am telling myself not to worry about it because it's out of my control!  This year we have many new things - new reading, writing, and math curriculum, so I am going to remain positive and roll with the punches!

And I'm not the only one starting school this week - Zane will be starting second grade!  How did THAT happen?

Wish us luck!
