Pumpkin Patch

This week was crazy!  We started with great news at Mason's first parent-teacher conference!  His teacher had nothing but good things to say about him!  He's polite, follows directions, is one of the first to clean up and move on to the next thing, and is learning what he needs to be learning!  We are so proud of him!!!

I had parent teacher conferences Wednesday and Thursday, so Matt was Super Dad!!!  It was nice to have Friday off with the two little boys.  We didn't do much...just relaxed!  Friday night my mom and dad stayed with us on their way to the NW game in Topeka on Saturday.  They stayed with the boys so we could have some much needed alone time.  We went to a movie and enjoyed time together!

Saturday we headed to the pumpkin patch to choose our pumpkins.  It was cold!!!  But we had a great time together!!!

The best I could get.  2/3 smiling and looking isn't bad right?

My only boy who would pose for me!

Mason going down the slide.

Zane going down the slide

Zane's growing!

Here's how tall Mason is

And Bryce had the help of the stroller

Any takers?

Feeding the animals

Riding the trikes

We could barely find one that worked!

They loved the big slides!

Mason said "it's an auger!"  They have it set up to look like a big auger, but it's a slide!  He had fun too!

Zane, Mom, and Mason riding the train

We couldn't believe all the pumpkins they have left!

Mason chose these two for he and Bryce!

Zane chose this BIG one!

Bryce helping Dad hold this pear shaped pumpkin

A combine!  A combine!  You'd think they never saw one before!
After we got home Saturday I was tired, so took a nap.  Little did I know that when I woke up I would have the stomach flu!  I...was...miserable!  Lucky for me it didn't last long, but it was awful!    I felt awful. I got sick. I couldn't spend time with my boys. Thankfully Matt truly is Super Dad and just took over! He is so wonderful. Thank you honey for not complaining, and keeping the boys away from this germ-fest. I hope you all escape it!  And come to find out there were around 20 teachers who had it also, including my principal.  They called in some cleaners today to disinfect my school.  Today I haven't gotten sick, but had a headache and was just weak all day.  I hope I can make it through tomorrow okay!
