Swim Lessons, Baseball, and a Wedding!

Life's been a little crazy lately!  It's weird how I actually HAVE more time on my hands but get LESS done!  I will go with the fact that I'm co-directing my church's VBS this year...that's taking a lot of my free time lately!

Look at how much this little monkey has grown!  I need to smooch and squeeze him!

The boys went to a movie a couple of weeks ago and were excited to see the Minions!
All 3 boys had swim lessons the past two weeks.  We got into a good routine...swim lesson, picnic lunch, fun swim, home, read, relax, supper.  On the first day they had Zane and Mason in the same level.  First I noticed Zane was at least 2 heads taller than everyone else, as well as two or more years older.  Then they jumped in to split them up by ability and when she said "Okay, can you put your face in and blow bubbles," I had to go chat with the manager.  She agreed to have Zane swim for her and determine if he could/should move up.  He swam across the pool and she moved him up!  Whew!

Bryce on his first day

He loved playing with toys at the end of each lesson!

Pouring water on their heads!

Diving...

Working on his form!
Each day we have quiet reading time!  I love it!  Both are reading chapter books lately!
We had our friends Maggie, Jaxon, and Benson over to play!  Too bad Bryce was a crab and didn't want Jaxon even TOUCHING his toys!  But Jaxon wasn't bothered by it at all and he just kept playing!  We are really going to have to work on this!

Benson and I chatting...

That face!
When it doesn't rain out...we have ballgames...but so many of them have been postponed this year!  We're lucky now to have Adam and Bethany here!  They have only missed one game!  Grandmas and Grandpas have been here to see him play too!!!

Slugger...
A couple of weekends ago we traveled to Iowa and made the most out of our visit!  First we stayed with Nate and Marcy at their new house, the next morning we stopped by my parents' house, then we headed to Brent and Jodie's!  We had never been there so it was fun to go see where they live.  Sunday of that weekend there was a wedding shower for Jodie at her mom's house!

Madison and Mason making homemade ice cream.  They had to roll that ball back and forth for 20 minutes!

Bryce claiming his toys and territory even at Brent's!

The master chef!
This past weekend we had a wedding to attend.  Raelynne works with my good friend Mary so we have become friends through her!  Raelynne asked me to make cupcakes for her wedding!  She also invited me to her "bachelorette party" where we went and painted a canvas together!

Painting party!  Fun girls' night out!
I was so proud of all three boys at swim lessons!  They all passed their levels with flying colors!  It was so weird to have all of them in lessons and just sit on the side watching/reading/taking pictures!  And they all actually liked them and didn't complain...too much...about going each day!

Bryce on his last day...he doesn't even realize how lucky he is...only boy in his class!

Sweet face!
Mason was the only one in his class that didn't need a life jacket!

Another sweet face!
Zane's last day...he is becoming such a good swimmer!

Nice dive!

The boys asked if they could clean the front door glass one day.  This is how many paper towels it took them!

How cute is this?  He said this is his favorite position to play!

Miniature Salvador Perez!

He looks like he knows what he's doing!

Playing pitcher

I ended up making 18 dozen cupcakes for the wedding and received many compliments!  I have fun doing it!  The wedding was really fun, and the boys loved having Grandma Keeta here to spend the evening with!

Hanging out with the Ottis girls!
