As I was looking through pictures, I noticed this one that I forgot to post last week. It's just really hard for me to believe that Mason can be old enough to be out of diapers already! He really has done so good with potty training! Lately we've noticed that he seems to have more trouble when he's outside...busy...and doesn't want to interrupt his time to go to the bathroom!

I also found this one...just to prove they DO get along SOMETIMES!

Week 2 with Mason in his "big boy" bed...a little tougher than week 1...we've had a few nights where it's taken Mason an hour or so to finally stay in his room and fall asleep. I tell you, he's a pro at stalling! He'll think of five million things he needs to do, say, or get before bed. Then he'll come out of his room that many more times to do, say, or get something else. He'll start in his bed, move to his floor, and the other night we found him here:

The other day the boys were ready for a snack. Mason chose Doritos (Mama's boy) and kept telling me he wanted something. I could NOT understand what he wanted and finally he got me to understand he wanted ranch! Again, Mama's boy!

This week I tried a recipe I found for
Sugar Cookie Bars at one of my favorite baking sites,
My Baking Addiction. I didn't use the included frosting recipe, instead I used this recipe for
Buttercream Frosting. (For those of you new to this...click on the links to go to the recipes/sites I'm referring to). I took them to school and they didn't last long at ALL! If you like sugar cookies, these are amazing, as well as amazingly easy! They taste just like a good frosted sugar cookie, yet they take a lot less time...no rolling or cutting out necessary!
Friday we headed to Iowa and the boys could barely contain themselves just waiting to get to the farm and ride the tractor! Saturday it was really nice, although super windy, but we took advantage by heading to the park. The boys had a great time there!

Saturday evening Papa and Old Papa took the boys fishing. They've been waiting and waiting for this! This fishing trip wasn't as successful as their first one last year...they ended up catching 3 fish total...but had fun anyway! I hope this is something fun they can always do with their Papas and have amazing memories of it!

The best news of the whole week was the birth of our new cousin, Corbyn LeeRoy England! He was born on Tuesday and is so sweet! It was hard for me to keep the boys away from him! I did get my snuggle time in though!
